Create a historical settlement in your school grounds!

Bring your history topics to life with these one day workshops, designed for one, two or three classes from KS1 and KS2.

Knights and Castles: This day is designed to develop pupils understanding of how and why castles were constructed. The day will include an exploration of key design features of a castle (and why they are important) and the opportunity to apply their knowledge of this to the practical task of building their castle.

Stone Age: Create a stone age settlement in a day! Developments in agriculture during the later stone age, enabled Neolithic people to settle in one place. Pupils will work with Chris to identify what materials would have been available, design and build their own stone age settlement.
