Artsmark

Artsmark: bringing learning to life through arts and culture

Artsmark is a creative quality standard for primary and secondary schools who are committed to embedding the arts throughout all aspects of school life.  It is accredited by Arts Council England.  In Leeds, there are several schools who are on the Artsmark journey.  More information about Artsmark can be found here.

The Artsmark process is straightforward and has been developed in partnership with teachers and senior schoool leaders to ensure that it is meaningful and relates to your school improvement plan.   There is a clear framework for teachers to plan, develop and evaluate arts, culture and creativity across the curriculum.

ArtForms are delighted to be Artsmark Partners.   Artsmark Partners are endorsed arts and cultural organisations that can support schools through the Artsmark process.  This might be through our CPD and training; more specific support and guidance or helping schools connect with an artist.  Our colleagues in ArtForms Music are also Artsmark partners and can support with the Artsmark registration fee.  Please see here for details about this.
