Leeds Schools’ String Orchestra

Rehearsals take place on Fridays during term time, 6.15 – 8.15pm

in the Owlcotes Room (ground floor), Pudsey Civic Hall, Dawson’s Corner, Pudsey LS28 5TA

Leeds Schools’ String Orchestra plays a broad range of music from classical to folk, pop, and some of the orchestra’s own arrangements and compositions. This is the string group for you if you can play a one octave scale, can read those notes without fingering, and can play by ear and improvise with those notes.

The group welcomes players from 9 to 15 years old. They play violin, viola, cello and double bass and are conducted by Ruth Wild and Hannah Duff.
