Rehearsals are Saturdays during term time, 9.15am – 12.00pm at Leeds Church Institute, 20 New Market Street, Leeds, LS1 6DG
Leeds Youth Opera sing staged musical productions from Mozart to modern works. Most of the company already have experience of singing in choirs at school or in churches, or are confident enough to sing a solo. There are no formal examination requirements, although auditions are held for principal roles. The group age range is 12 – 25 years old.
