Leeds Music Education Partnership welcomes new DJ ensemble into the City of Leeds Youth Music family
Hub partner DJ School UK is launching a new initiative offering the opportunity for young people to learn DJ skills in a group – the Beat Team Ensemble!
This new group is funded by Leeds Music Education Partnership and run by DJ School UK from their studio in central Leeds. Those who take part will have the opportunity to learn how to scratch and beat juggle by collaborating with others using the DJ turntable as an instrument. This project is open to young people aged 11-18 and will run every Thursday for 10 weeks at 5.30pm-7.30pm.
