Artist led workshops……online!

For schools who are interested in bringing a creative practitioner into the classroom using technology, we are delighted to share three brand new virtual workshops!

Poetry Masterclass: Get your pupil’s creativity flowing with Andy Craven Griffiths! This 1 hour workshop will provide pupils with the opportunity to meet a professional performance poet and learn his top tips for writing poetry or performing poetry.  Teachers can choose from a menu of options, so that the workshop supports what is currently being taught.  For a full description and outline of the options, please visit the Leeds for Learning website.

Word Play: Working with performance poet, Andy Craven Griffiths, schools can choose between exploring word play through sound (alliteration, tongue twisters and composite words) or word play through meaning (concrete and abstract nouns).  For a full description and outline of the options, please visit the Leeds for Learning website.

Look Closer: Steve Clarkson from Found Fiction will take pupils on an exciting trip finding inspiration and stories in everyday places!  This workshop will provide pupils with the opportunity to meet a professional writer and develop a bank of ideas for their own creative writing.  For a full description, please visit the Leeds for Learning website.

All of the virtual workshops last up to one hour and can be delivered to one class.  They can be booked through the Leeds for Learning website.
