SUMMARY:Expanding Musical Horizons Brass development day
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce the ArtForms Brass Development Day 2025. There has been a large amount of brass development work going on in Leeds over the last year. This is the first opportunity for a number of newly established training brass bands to join together with other brass learners across the city to make music on a larger scale. They will be teaming up with our very own youth music groups Leeds Schools’ Brass Ensemble (LSBE) and Leeds Schools’ Wind Orchestra (LSWO)\, to create a fantastic opportunity for skill sharing\, workshops and performances. \nWe have aimed the day at students (Y4 and above) who play any brass instruments and who have been playing for at least one year. We would like to extend the invitation to any students having private lessons or non-Artforms school tuition. \nThere is no charge for taking part\, but parents and carers are responsible for transport to and from Pudsey Civic Hall on the day.  Rehearsals will be staffed by qualified ArtForms teachers.
