DESCRIPTION:Roots Alive will be hosting another Ceilidh at Otley Parish Church on Saturday 1 February 2025.  \nThis year the proceeds will be split between Zarach\, a charity which helps furnish houses for the homeless\, 2nd Otley scouts\, and the Parish Church. \n  \nDate & Time:  Saturday 1 February 2025 \nCeilidh starts 7pm and should be finished by 9.15pm  (Doors open 6.30pm) \nBring along some food and share in the buffet. \nSlip into those dancing shoes as dancing will commence between 7pm and 9pm. \nThere will be a bar but this will be cash only so please come prepared. \nLocation:       Otley All Saints Church\, LS21 3HW \nTickets £7.00 Adults \n£25.00 for a family ticket 2 adults and up to 3 children. \nTickets can be purchased here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/2nd-otley-ceilidh-tickets-1100392245829 \n

DESCRIPTION:Learn A Symphony In A Day\nMonday 17th February\, 10am-3.30pm The Grammar School at Leeds LS17 8GS \n\nWe are delighted to announce another fantastic opportunity for Leeds students to play alongside professional musicians. Meliora Collective are a flexible group of musicians specialising in chamber music and are currently part of the Leeds International Concert Season  They will be working alongside our City of Leeds Youth Orchestra Conductor\, Mark Edwards to support students to ‘learn a symphony in a day’. This activity will take place on Monday 17th February\, during the Leeds schools’ half term holiday. \n\n\nWe have aimed the day at students who play any string\, wind\, brass or percussion instruments and who can play to around grade 5 standard or above. We would like to extend the invitation to any students having private lessons or non-Artforms school tuition. \nIf your child wishes to take part\, please complete the online form by 8th February 2025.
