LeedsCEP Health & Wellbeing Pod. Priority Pods are a coming together of individuals with an interest or experience in that priority area, with a focus on action. LeedsCEP members can choose to join any of the Priority Pods relevant to their work or area of expertise, and if you are not a member you are still more than welcome to join us at the Pod meeting.

 

Meet our Pod Leaders

Naomi Roxby Wardle 

Director for Fall Into Place Theatre & Children, Youth and Families Strategic Development Manager for LS14 Trust 

Naomi works collaboratively with a number of other organisations in Seacroft that make up the partnership: WE ARE SEACROFT (https://weareseacroft.org.uk/). Her work focuses on increasing opportunities and experience for young people in Seacroft. 

Naomi also sits on the Leeds East Primary Partnership Board and is one of the people involved in Leeds Play Sufficiency Strategy. Naomi is currently completing a masters in Youth Work and Community Development and is focussing research around the importance of arts and creativity in young people’s development. Naomi has strong relationships with communities in Seacroft and across Leeds and with other 3rd sector organisations and professionals across the NHS Integrated Care Board and the Local Authority.

 

Sally Drinkwater

Community & Young Person’s Development and Engagement Lead for the Trauma Informed Programme, Volition @Forum Central

Sally’s role sits under the Compassionate Leeds: strategic framework for trauma awareness, prevention and response, which brings together colleagues from across the third sector, Public Health, Leeds NHS Integrated Care Board, Leeds City Council, and Leeds Community Health Trust. I work very closely with the specialist networks at Volition, Forum Central and with other Children and Young People’s networks across the city including Young Lives Leeds, Third Sector Safeguarding Reference group and Together Leeds Youth Forum. Sally has previously worked as a Teacher in Primary Education and in the Arts Sector including the BBC Proms, Southbank centre and more locally, Opera North where she supported the start up of the In Harmony project in Belle Isle.

The Pod launch is on Friday 24th November from 9.30am – 11.30am at Leeds 2023 office, 2 Brewery Place, Brewery Wharf, Leeds, LS10 1NE. This meeting is open to anyone with an interest in developing the Arts, Health and Wellbeing offer for children and young people in Leeds.
