This year, we’ve adapted our training for art subject leaders to suit where colleagues are on their subject leader journey.  For teachers, who are very new to the role of art subject leader, may not be art specialists and/or have recieved limited training around this role, then Part 1 is for you.   If you have been an art subject leader for sometime, but feel in need of a refresher then Part 2 is likely to be more suitable for you.   If you’d like to attend both, then you are very welcome (and there is a discount for schools that choose this option.)

Both of these sessions will be delivered virtually and will include some practical activity, opportunities for discussion and the chance to meet other art subject leaders.

Come to this practical session to find out about skills progression in drawing.  This will be a practical training half day and is designed to make you feel more confident and enthusiastic about teaching drawing.  Links will be made with other subject areas and information will be shared to help you ‘make the case’ for why drawing is an important part of the school curriculum.
