If you are new to the role of D&T subject leader, or you’ve only received limited training, then this course is for you.  Using the National Curriculum as a starting point, participants will consider the key elements of a design and technology curriculum including progression of pupils’ knowledge and skills across key stages. Subject specific research will be highlighted and shared.

Food and nutrition is a significant aspect of the Design and Technology national curriculum.  As part of our primary Design and Technology training for teachers, ArtForms are delighted to be working with Siobhan Jennings, Healthy Eating Advisor in the School Health and Wellbeing Team on this upcoming training.

The session will  develop delegates skills, knowledge and experience of food and nutrition to enable them to confidently lead and support their colleagues.   Whilst the session will be delivered on Zoom, there will be a practical aspect to the training.
