This is an annual event, which showcases all the fantastic filmmaking by children and young people in Leeds.  The awards ceremony takes place in March at Leeds Town Hall. The deadline for entries is the 2nd February 2018, so don’t delay and submit your film!

Any young person from Leeds who has made a short film since January 2016 can submit to this competition and we welcome submissions from individuals or groups. Films can be of any genre or type and schools can submit films produced in lesson time or as extra-curricular activity. Please visit www.leedsyoungfilm.com to find out more about criteria, how to enter and some top tips for great filmmaking. The deadline for submissions is 3^rd February 2017.

Filmmaking can be a great way to excite and engage students in subjects across the curriculum.  Come along to this free session to finid out how to use your ipad to make films with your students.
