The Leeds Young Filmamkers Golden Owl Awards is an annual event which celebrates and showcases high quality filmamking by children and young people in Leeds.

If you’ve been making films at school, with a community group or even by yourself and you are aged under 19 (or 25 if you have additional needs), you could be eligible to enter your film into the Leeds Young Filmmakers Golden Owl Awards 2018!

The awards ceremony takes place in March at Leeds Town Hall. The deadline for film entries is the 2nd February 2018, so don’t delay and submit your film!

If you are not sure of how to get started making films, then our half day training course on the 10th October 2017,  may be just the thing.  Led by Craig Lawson from Access Moving Image, this training will develop your practical skills and confidence in using an iPad to make films.  For full details, including how to book, please visit Leeds for Learning.

In March 2018, we will be showcasing the finest films made by children and young people from Leeds with our annual Leeds Young Filmmakers Golden Owl Awards 2018 .
