On Friday 18th June in the afternoon, there will be a live streamed event with the extended learning team (the team behind our weekly Music Nuggets). This session will be a chance to personally meet the team, join in with some music activities and find out what the music nugget challenge will be.  After this session, you will be given the links to some pre-recorded videos made by the team that will go through possible music performance tasks your school and classes may want to participate in. You will then have two weeks to practice your performance, ready for a live streamed performance showcase on Friday 9th July in the afternoon. This will be an exciting opportunity to perform your piece to other schools across the city.

If you would like to take part in this new project, please email sarah.truscott@leeds.gov.uk  by Wednesday 26th May. A selection of performance videos showcase the ‘Live music in Schools’ ensembles, whilst our Music Nugget videos are a selection of fun, bite-sized activities for children to join in with, created by our experienced Extended Learning team. A different set of videos are released each Friday afternoon, and the links are made available for you to watch after this time at your own convenience.
