<h3 style="text-align: center;"><strong>UNESCO’s International Arts Education Week?</strong></h3>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>UNESCO promote <a href="http://www.unesco.org/new/en/culture/themes/creativity/arts-education/">learning in and through</a> the arts and there has been an annual International Arts Education Week since 2012. The aim of the week is to increase the international community’s awareness on the importance of arts education and its impact on cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue and social cohesion. They have put together a <a href="http://insea.org/docs/inseaprojects/internationalweekartseducation/2019/A1_international-week-arts-educ-insea.pdf">poster</a> and <a href="http://insea.org/docs/inseaprojects/internationalweekartseducation/2019/10X15__international-week-arts-educ-insea.pdf">postcard</a> to download and share with colleagues.</p>
<p>If you’re interested in developing your arts curriculum, you may be interested in the <a href="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/embedding-arts-culture-and-heritage-in-your-curriculum-session-3-tickets-51649715690">Arts, Culture and Heritage Conference on the 14th June</a>. ArtForms also have networks for Primary Art, Dance, Design and Technology and Music subject leaders. In addition, there are a number of opportunities to work with creative practitioners through <a href="http://artformsleeds.co.uk/arts/creative-projects/">creative projects</a>, <a href="http://artformsleeds.co.uk/music/offers-for-schools-and-academies/extended-learning/schools-live-music/">live music performances</a> or <a href="http://artformsleeds.co.uk/music/offers-for-schools-and-academies/extended-learning/projects-workshops-and-holiday-activities/">music workshops</a>.</p>
