The City of Leeds Youth Orchestra are putting out a second call for players of Viola, Trombone, French Horn and Percussion, if you meet the criteria listed below please email us before the deadline Friday 29th August 2025 on educ.artforms@leeds.gov.uk

CLYO rehearsals commence Friday 12th September 2025

City of Leeds Youth Orchestra rehearse Fridays 6:45-9.15pm at Pudsey Civic Hall, Leeds,LS28 5TA

This is an auditioned group for players grade 6 and above. please contact educ.artforms@leeds.gov.uk if you are interested in joining. Auditions may be held mid-year if there are spaces available.

CLYO is a 70-strong group of young musicians playing at the highest standards. the orchestra is conducted by Mark Edwards, and welcomes secondary-age string, woodwind, brass and percussion players of approximately Grade 6 and above. Generally members are aged between 13 and 18 years old. CLYO play a full range of symphonic repertoire and perform in venues across Leeds. In July 2025, they will go on residential to Giggleswick, and in July 2026, they are excited to be returning to Spain for their international tour.
