A morning workshop for rusty Jazz and Wind Band players

Do you have an instrument gathering dust at home? Played years (or decades) ago and always fancied picking it up again? Horsforth Music Centre is holding a Dust Off Your Case Day – a morning workshop for anyone who has ever played a woodwind or brass instrument to an intermediate or advanced level, and would like to give it a go again in a friendly, low-pressure environment. (For the rhythm section, we can also accommodate a limited number of guitarists, bassists and pianists). You’ll spend the morning working on jazz and concert band repertoire with the support of experienced Music Centre teaching staff and existing band members. We’ll even lend you an instrument if you need one!
