On Thursday 4 July 2024, pupils from Springwell Academy Leeds North, The Grammar School at Leeds, Lawnswood School, Wetherby High School, Dixons Unity Academy and The Farnley Academy took part in the ‘Live at The Wardrobe’ event. Pop and rock bands from each of the schools spent the day working with staff at The Wardrobe to rehearse and prepare for the evening’s event. Students also had the opportunity to visit Leeds Conservatoire of Music to take part in a workshop delivered by a member of their staff. The evening event saw a packed audience and bands clearly enjoyed the experience of performing in a prestigious venue in the city. A massive well done to all the young people involved!!
