On Saturday 1st July, Horsforth Music Centre will be offering the opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to get involved with a host of FREE musical activities.

For accomplished (and not-so-accomplished!) players, there will be the opportunity to join in with existing Music Centre groups, including the Concert Band, Adult String Orchestra Beginner Orchestra and Junior Rock Band. For total beginners as young as 3, there are drop-in sessions including singalongs, music and movement and body percussion. There are also special one off activities for keyboard and guitar players, and a folk jam session!

The open day is part of Horsforth Walk of Art, and there will also be the opportunity to hear the Music Centre’s Blues Band, Jazz Band, Salsa Band and Dixieland Jazz Band at Horsforth Farmer’s Market during the morning.
