The Youth Music Festival Celebration Concert will involve over 500 children who will show off their talents at the Leeds First Direct Arena.

It will officially open the summer youth music festival which will run from the 21st June until the end of July.

Over 500 children and young people will come together in the arena from across the city to celebrate their musical talents, culminating in a grand finale with a specially commissioned song for the event ‘The Future’s in our Hands’. It will feature contributions from over 50 different schools in Leeds and many of LMEP’s partners including Opera North, DJ School, Leeds Conservatoire, Diocese of Leeds and SAA UK. It will include the most advanced Leeds youth music groups; The city of Leeds Youth Orchestra and Leeds Youth Jazz Rock Orchestra. The programme will showcase a diverse range of music for all the family to enjoy.
