We are delighted to share that we are now taking applications for auditions for the City of Leeds Youth Orchestra (CLYO) and City of Leeds Youth Wind Orchestra (CLYWO).
Date & Time: Saturday 17th July 2021, 8am-7pm
Sunday 18th July 2021, 9am-12 noon
Venue: Yorkshire College of Music and Drama, LS2 9BN
We are able to provide an accompanist on Saturday 17th or Sunday 18th July free of charge; if you would like to use this service please enclose a copy of the piano accompaniment with your application form.
If you are not able to make this weekend but would still like to apply, please do return an application form with an explanation and we will do our best to arrange an alternative audition date for you.
We do not have strict criteria for applying to either group and you do not need to have taken any exams, however as a guide to the standard of playing expected, we suggest that CLYWO is suitable for those playing at around Grade 5 or above, and CLYO is suitable for those playing at around Grade 6 or above.
