Roots Alive

Rehearsals are Fridays during term time, 4.30- 6.00pm at Leeds City Academy LS6 2LG

Roots Alive play traditional British and Irish music on a range of instruments – mainly strings (e.g. violins, guitars and mandolins) and woodwind (especially flutes and whistles), but also including hand percussion, accordions and concertinas. Most members are fluent on their instruments and have a willingness / ability to play by ear or memory. If you want to try out Roots Alive please contact the ArtForms office, the conductors Ruth Wild and Hannah Duff will be very happy to speak to you.
