Live Music in Schools

“I think music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.” Billy Joel

Our Live Music in Schools programme provides an opportunity for your pupils to hear and to interact with professional musicians. All the musicians featured are highly skilled performers who have developed their offers to enhance the learning and understanding of their audiences across several areas of the National Curriculum. Leeds Music Education Partnership (LMEP) has subsidised the cost and schools pay a set group price of:

  • £100 for 2 hours (afternoon)
  • £152 for 3 hours (morning)
  • £210 for 4 hours (full day)
