Getting Started with Project Based Learning

Project-Based Learning (PBL) is a key teaching approach in schools around the world offering pupils a
highly engaging way to learn.
Pupils gain knowledge and skills by exploring and working on REAL (Rigorous, Engaging, Authentic Learning) projects. Through active engagement in the planning and delivery of a project, pupils address complex questions and issues and achieve a much deeper understanding of the subject area.
This practical day will take teachers through the key stages of planning and managing pupil led projects.
Participants will take away useful tools and resources to help get started with PBL in school.
The day will be facilitated by David and Clare Price from Educational Arts.
