City of Leeds Youth Music
Do you sing or play an instrument? Join one of our music groups for young people in Leeds!
ArtForms is proud to manage City of Leeds Youth Music (CLYM) Groups. These ensembles offer the highest level of music-making opportunities to young people in Leeds aged 19 and under.
The City of Leeds Youth Music groups meet weekly during the Leeds term time.
The costs for the City of Leeds Youth Music groups are £215 per enrolment which includes 35 rehearsals during term time only. This equates to just £6.14 per rehearsal.
Free beginner and Junior ensembles!
All beginner ensembles in our Music Centres and Junior City of Leeds Youth Music groups are completely free for 2024-25
We have free beginner ensembles in 6 of our Music Centres at Guiseley, Horsforth, North Leeds, Rothwell, South Leeds, and Wetherby.
Our three Junior Youth Music groups are also free; Leeds Schools’ String Orchestra, Leeds Schools Wind Orchestra and Leeds Schools’ Brass Ensemble.

Waivers and bursaries
We believe CLYM fees are very reasonable, but further concessions are available to families on qualifying benefits including Income Support, Universal credit, Jobseeker’s Allowance, Child Tax Credit and others. You may be eligible for a discount of up to 66%, to a maximum of £100 per student. Paying your invoice
If you have received an invoice for City of Leeds Youth Music fees, you can pay online.
Alternatively, you can pay or set up a monthly direct debit over the phone on 0113 3760360.
You can set up a monthly direct debit and pay your fees over 9 months!
