Leeds Youth Music Festival 2023

LMEP are delighted to announce that the Leeds Youth Music Festival will be returning again this year, with over 30 events and activities planned throughout June and July.

The festival is a celebration of the cultural and musical diversity in Leeds and brings together schools, youth music groups and LMEP partners.

A highlight will be the Youth Music Celebration Concert at Leeds Arena on the 21 June. Over 700 children and young people will come together showcasing some of the best musical talent in the city. Groups include: the City of Leeds Youth Orchestra, Leeds Youth Jazz Rock Orchestra and Leeds schools’ primary and secondary choirs who will be performing a varied programme, culminating in a specially commissioned song ‘The future’s in our hands’.

There will also be other events to get involved with, including a number of Youth Music and music centre concerts, big samba, and performances from LMEP partners such as Leeds Lieder, Diocese of Leeds and Leeds Junior Conservatoire. You can view all the festival events on the ArtForms website.
