Youth Folk Group Roots Alive creates a lockdown music video!

The Roots Alive logo in white on a dark green background. The logo says Roots Alive and is surrounded by celtic knot-style artwork.

During lockdown, some of our youth music ensembles have been working hard with the young people to create socially distanced music videos as they haven’t been able to rehearse together.

The first of these videos is now complete, from Roots Alive, a youth folk group made up of 9 young musicians playing along with the ArtForms staff members who run the group. They’re playing their version of the traditional Scots song, We’re no awa’ tae bide awa’, followed by an absolute Roots classic – Bear Dance!
