ArtForms is delighted to offer performances for all maintained schools, free schools and academies in Leeds.
Our Live Music in Schools programme provides an opportunity for your pupils to hear and to interact with professional musicians.
All the musicians featured are highly skilled performers who have developed their offers to enhance the learning and understanding of their audiences. As well as forming a vital part of the National Curriculum in music, listening skills are key to learning across the curriculum.
Offer for schools 2025-2026: To make it easier for you to bring high quality, appropriate performances into your school, ArtForms will subsidise one live music performance or workshop for each school. All subsequent performances will be charged at full price.
Subsidised prices:
- £120 for 2 hours (afternoon)
- £150 for 3 hours (morning)
- £220 for 4 hours (full day)

- £120 for 2 hours (afternoon)
- £162 for 3 hours (morning)
- £230 for 4 hours (full day)
NB: as this scheme is already subsidised by the music hub, your school may not use any other ArtForms grant to pay for performances they book (i.e. ArtForms enrichment grant). The full price list can be found above and at the end of the Live Music brochure.
Please Note: We require 4 weeks’ notice if you need to cancel a workshop once booked, otherwise you will be charged the full amount. All booking enquires should be made at least 4 weeks in advance.
All bookings are now being taken through Leeds for Learning. This includes subsided and full price requests. Once logged in, please go to Store | Service details | SLA Online (sla-online.co.uk).
Performances can be tailored to suit audiences from Early Years through to A Level. In addition to the groups offered throughout the year we have again teamed up with Leeds International Concert Season (leedsconcertseason.co.uk) to bring a wider range of performances into schools. Details will be given to schools about specific dates you can book for these performances.

Bespoke SEND Programmes
Full and half day workshops together with extended projects, clubs and creative activities can be tailored to your particular needs. A wide range of one-day events in partnership with YAMSEN is also available.
