Leeds Schools' Wind Orchestra
LSWO was formed in 2016 by the merger of Leeds Schools’ Concert Band (junior) and Leeds Youth Training Wind Band (intermediate) and includes brass, woodwind and percussion instruments.
They perform a wide variety of popular, classical and film music at concerts throughout the year. We play at approximately Grade 1-4 standard, although you don’t need to have taken any exams and we do not hold auditions.
LSWO is a great introduction to wind orchestral playing in a supportive and friendly environment.
